Bolens G154
Hello everyone,
My first post here, and hoping you guys can help me better than google has been.
I recently purchased a set of front tires for a Bolens G154 (Iseki TX1300 I believe). I got the right size (5.00-12) but the lugs weren't quite right in the picture, oh well they are the right size, and the lug pattern is close enough. Unfortunately, I was quite wrong, the lugs on my tires measure 6 inches wide, where the ones on the new tire are 5 inches wide and not quite as aggressive.

I am wondering if anyone knows where I can find tires for this, more like the one on the right in the picture. The new tire is on the left and I am returning it as I want to have the wider lugs for going through mud better, the tractor is used in Michigan, for personal use, I use it for snowblowing, wood gathering, and a variety of other things. The big thing is that I need good traction, and the added side bite seems like it would be helpful.

Regardless, I want to find tires more like what I already have, if you guys have any advice on a similar tire it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Devin

Titan serves the odd market well. I just found turfs for a 12x16.5 wheel that nobody else sold. I have Titans on the 6530 I bought in 2007 and they are serving me very well. Also might www Tucker tire. They have a wide assortment and ship all over.

On a 4WD front axle, when you replace one tire you can pretty much expect to replace two. They need to stay the same size as the original tires +/-, but they also should be the same size left to right.

I ordered 2 of the tires on the left, they just didn't match the width that I like in the tire on the right which has its sidewall split.

I am going to try Tucker tire like Texasmark said, I have been trying all over and have searched extensively on ebay to find more 5.00x15 than anything else.

At least on larger ag tires, they have an RCI number. (Rolling Circumference Index) This lets you match your old tire without messing up your 4WD. You can go wider, narrower, or different tread if the RCI is the same.

Interesting tidbit of info. What does the number look like? Any prefix-suffix? Thanks

Yesterday I checked the Korean front that came with the 2400 and the Titan I mentioned and neither had anything that might be considered an RCI number. Forgot to check the 16.9x34s on my 6530.

The size should tell you it's 5inches wide for a 12inch rim, if that tire on the left is the same size it will widen out after mounted with air just like the other.

And I have a Iseki with the same tires but mine are 10 inch instead of 12 rim.
