New Holland TC33DA hydro w/supersteer
I have a New Holland TC33DA tractor. Today I noticed a hose clamp laying on the ground near where I was using my tractor (photos attached).

The markings on that hose clamp match those on other hose clamps on my tractor, so I assume it came off the tractor. I looked over the tractor and engine compartment, but can't find where this hose clamp might have come from. Can anyone help?

All you can really do is, when the engine is cool, use you hands snd fingers to feel the ends of all of the hoses until you find one end with the missing hose clamp.

The size of the clamp should give you and idea as to which hoses to focus on.

Was the clamp you found open or closed? If it was closed, it’s probably unlikely that it fell off your tractor unless a hose actually came off.

That's a big clamp (2 13/16 - 3 3/4"). First place I'd check is the air filter canister and intake hose connections.

....or a clamp for the rubber sleeve on the front drive shaft?

I agree with ruffdog, on the front boot seems to be about that size.0203201716.jpg

Thanks for the replies so far. It does seem to be a rather big clamp - too big for the radiator hoses (all four of which are present, two on each hose).

The clamp for the rubber sleeve on the front drive shaft is present.

The two clamps on the hose behind the air filter canister are present.

I don't see any "clean" spots where a clamp might have been around something. So, I'm still stumped.

A few more photos are attached.

Does your tractor have a loader? My loader uses hose clamps to hold the hydraulic hoses in place with a small rubber bushing behind it.

My loader had a clamp on the lift cylinder....notice below the "new holland" name you will see a clamp on the cylinder.

I do have a loader, and there is one hose clamp and rubber bushing on each lift cylinder, holding the hydraulic hose in place. Both of those (one on each side) are present.
