If you have a New Holland tractor then you also more than likely have one of those toolbox/cup holders that really aren’t much of either. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I easily added a toolbox that looks like a standard New Holland item and is not an eyesore. Click here to see the pictures.

Great Job, On the older tractors like my 2120 there was a metal toolbox right about wher you mounted yours. Not as large though...

Excellent! I wish I'd seen this before I put a rear worklight on. Looks like I'll need to find another place for the light. : /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mike, you did a really professional job. Even if someone wanted to install something other than a toolbox, your method of building a shelf is one clever piece of work. Good job! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

johnday ... I did a similar install on my TC24D and used a smaller, but still fairly large box and kept the rear mounted aux. light in the original location. I simply offset the box to the side of the light. My box is 18" by 16" by 9" and it fits between the ROPS and the light on a bracket that uses the ROPS base bolts to hold it into place. My tractor is much smaller, so I didn't have as much room, but the factory tool boxes are pretty tiny and mine holds some wrenches as well as tow strap, 2 different branch loppers, a small limb saw, and lots of assorted smaller things. Not big enough for chain, but I don't use my little tractor for that much dragging, I use the bigger ones for that.
