Anyone got a ML106 loader close by? I'm ordering a selector valve from WRLong with the optional bulkhead bracket. They need a measurement from the center of the lower lift pin on the back of the bucket to the center of the cross member between the loader arms. The bulkhead bracket will be welded to the cross member and they need the measurement to determine the length of the hoses.

If anyone has that measurement handy or can quickly get it from an ML 106, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll measure it this evening when I get home.

Thanks,

BR

If I'm understanding you correctly my measurement came out to 17 1/4".

Anyone else?

Thanks, RedRiver. Nelson at WRLong said that it's usually 17"-18", so your measurement of 17 1/4" is sounds about right.

I'll probably wait until later this afternoon and measure it on mine. It's not like I can use the selector valve before my Millonzi grapple gets here (it's not due to ship for another week or so).

Thanks,

BR

I measured mine this afternoon. Right at 17 1/4". Called Nelson at WR Long. Selector valve with bulkhead kit should ship out on Monday.

It'll be another 7-10 days before my Millonzi grapple ships.

Thanks guys,

I have a question for you and after you get it done can you post some pictures.
My question is..
How do you plan on welding it to the cross tube with having the steel hydraulic lines attached to the cross tube?
I know I can figure it out myself but I was woundering on what your plan was.
Maybe your idea is better than mine.

Wallace,

Could have sworn I replied to this yesterday... Must not have hit the right button or something.

Now that the package has arrived from WR Long, I understand a little better how the bulkhead kit will mount. The bracket is basically a 1/4"X4"X4" piece of steel with two holes drilled in it where the quick connects are mounted, one male and one female. The instructions say,
If your valve kit came with the weld on hydraulic bulk head plate, then weld it to the front horizontal bar on the loader and next to the right loader arm.
I'm not looking at my loader right now, so I don't know exactly how the metal hoses run, but I'm hoping I can find a spot where I can weld the side of the bracket to the right loader arm and the bottom of the bracket to the cross member. I'll do some fitting/aligning tests when I get home this afternoon.

My grapple supposed to ship out via UPS at ~16:00 this afternoon, so it should be here later this week or early next.

Later,

BR
