I am thinking about bringing a new Kioti CK25 or CK30 home and wanted to ask if anyone has dealt with Burr Farms Machinery, Inc. out of Nebraska? Looks like they are Nebraska's only dealer which I find crazy... If so, that right there may rule out a Kioti for lack of dealer support. I already have a Kubota and the dealer is quite close, but am finding it hard to ignore what Kioti has to offer. I did read the thread on disappearing Kioti dealers but never really paid attention to whether or not any Kioti dealers existed in my area before now.

Thanks for any input.

Have you tried looking at the Kioti dealer locator on their web site? Hopefully they keep it updated.
That's an impressive buck in your picture!

I've driven past them. The are west of Dunbar on highway 2. They had what looked like most of the Kioti lineup. I have not stopped by. The dealer in Omaha used to be Midlands Equipment. They are a Case dealer, the construction equipment. The tractors were really not their thing.

The dealer locator only goes up to 100 miles. I ended up putting in a different zip and that is when I found Burrs in Dunbar, NE. The funny thing is I also emailed Kioti asking them for the nearest KUBOTA dealer. Oops..... Their reply was brief to say the least.

Hopefully someone will chime in with a reference for Burrs. I am afraid any further away than that, I would run into distance problems when I need service.

Same issue here in Colorado. On top of that, the Kioti's are priced very high out here - certainly not the value that folks in other parts of the country seem to be getting compared to the "big 3". It's too bad, because they seem to have some nice features (at least on paper), but I can't justify spending more than a comparable Kubota, Deere, or NH.

If your interested in Kioti, consider the new Bobcat CUT equivalent. Hamilton Equipment in Lincoln or Bobcat of Omaha/Omaha Tractor could probably price one out for you. I know that Bobcat of Omaha were getting some in when I talked with them 1-2 months ago. I don't expect Hamilton Equipment to stock any soon. If you call Hamilton, ask for John Hesterman. If you call Bobcat of Omaha ask for Dave Hardies in sales. I know John real well and good to deal with. Kioti now makes the CUT for bocat but with different loader from what I read on this site. The bobcat CUT equivalents are the ct225 and ct230 which are available. Other Bobcat models will be available later this year.
I know of Burr Farms but have never dealt with them. They are the only Kioti dealer I know of in this region.

PS. If your interested, I have a Case-IH DX29 for sale. Excellent condition. PM me if interested.

Thanks for the input Radman. I kind of mentally blocked the idea of Bobcat just because of their typical high prices. Not a bad idea at all to pursue. I am in the middle of the state, so Grand Island or Kearney would be my preferred dealer unless the price difference would be significant in Lincoln/Omaha.

Bobcat rep says they are going to try to beat the price of the other major competitors. Fact or fiction? Lincoln Bobcat dealer is waiting to order some tractors. He says when a dealer signs up to begin selling the tractors, it is mandatory to order 12. Currently, it seems Bobcat is giving preference to select dealers on initial orders.

I have talked with Bob Burr a few times. I did price a new CK20 from him when they first came out, but ended up getting my used MF 1225, as it was a few thousand cheaper. He seems like he is competitive with other makes, but given that there is no other Kioti dealer in the area, I don't know how much he discounts within the Kioti price structure.
As far as Bobcat, if you are in central NE, it may be worth checking with the Bobcat dealer in GI (Central NE Bobcat??) and see if they plan on handling tractors.
