narrowing down my choices

Pretty much settled on a B2710 or B2910, with three questions remaining:

Which tractor & why? I'm leaning towards the B2910 for the extra HP and better seat, but willing to be talked out of it by someone who knows more.

Kubota LA402 versus Woods 1009/1012 loaders: 4-in-1 bucket will rob 150-200# of my capacity. Anyone tried a Woods loader on the B2710/2910? Bigger capacity & the quick attach option are attractive.

Michelin XM-27 tires: Can't find their equivalent for the stock 12.4-16 tires on their WWW site, but it's notoriously lacking compared to actual product. Has anyone put XM-27s on a B2710/2910? Maybe go to an 18" wheel?

If the money's not an issue and the hand throttle on the right doesn't bother you, get the 2910. That seat is nicer

Yep--that's where I was looking earlier. No 12.4-16s listed (but they do have 11LR16s and 12.5R18s.)

Was wondering if anyone had tried the larger size or found them in the 16"?

If I understand it correctly, the 16 and 18 refers to the rim diameter. If this is correct, then the 12.5R18 will also require new rims. If you use tires other than those supplied by Kubota, be sure that you preserve the ratio between the front and rear tire circumferences. The ratio needs to match the 4WD gearing ratio or your great tractor pulling power will all go into wearing out your tires.

What's the attraction to the other tires?
