Does anyone have the Napa or Wix or other manufacture Part # for the following filters for a BX25

AIR FILTER
GAS FILTER
OIL FILTER
HYD, TRANS FILTER

Alot of talk of the subject but not alot of part numbers listed, looking for information from a person who is actually using the filters on their machine
and have had no problems with them, info appreciated, thank you.

have you tried taking the Kubota part numbers and then going the Wix sight to see if will provide a cross over? Worked for BX1850

Air: 6449 (OEM K121182320), Fuel: 3972 (1258143012), Engine: 1365 (HH15032430), Hydraulic: 7088 (HHK2036990)

EDIT: These are NAPA Gold; for NAPA Silver add a 2 as the first number (most Filters)

for WIX the numbers are 46449, 33972, 51365, and 57088

If you look at the pictures for the WIX 33972 or Napa 3972 you can clearly see that they are nothing but a strainer screen.........this is not what the BX uses as a fuel filter.

I just went by the interchange, and also checked the 2010 catalog I have at home. I did not realize it was just a strainer; and only with a 50 micron rating. Lots of skid steers/other equipment use this or the metal version w/stainless steel mesh as primary filters while using final filters in the 10-30 micron range. Does the BX25 not have the common filter bowl? If it does then perhaps Wix does not supply it, and it is a dealer item.

The Kubota site does show quantity 2 of 12581-43012 as the only fuel filter(s) listed; and the Messick's photo shows a 5/16" inlet/outlet plastic bodied inline type filter. The filter housing is translucent vs transparent like the NAPA/Wix. The current Kubota number supersedes about 6 different part numbers used in the past. Several sites show similar inline type filter/strainers to replace the Kubota number, and they are in the 60-70 micron range. To me a 50 and up micron rating is rather large for this day and time with some road tractors using 30 as primary and 5 or 10's as finishing filters.

The Kubota inline filters I think are a special makeup for the BX and other diesels. Kubota has 2 installed, one in line before the electric pump and one before the injection pump. They also do trap water as I have drained water out of them before.

Was having a bit of trouble on the RTV and put on the water seperator kit and will try to put one on the BX and maybe the G2160 when I get the time but otherwise the small tractors and mowers do not have a bowl type seperator.
