Name for your tractor?

I have noticed a few names for tractors on here and was just wondering if you have a name for yours and what it is.. I call mine the "LITTLE MULE" cause it works like one. I also watched a movie a few years back where a guy had a tricked out Bronco he called PEPE', the Little Mule..Romancing the Stone , I believe.. John

This question comes up every so often. In fact, it comes up often enough that I've saved a basic answer to it in my favorite threads. So, here it is... Tractor Names?

Since most of the time I was out on the tractor making noise the wife started calling the New Holland "blue thunder" and it stuck. When I'm out on it too long she has other more colorful names she calls me.

Well, since I see that I am not part of the thread that Golfgar4 referred to...

My larger tractor was nameless for a couple years but eventually I realized that his name was Max...

I thought the smaller one might be named Maxine, but in the end her name turned out to be Irma.

Nothing original there...Did not even pick the names myself...they just evolved...

Hopefully we will all work togther for a couple more decades minimum, and may they continue on after I turn to dust... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

A lot of what I call my tractor depends on how stuck in the mud I am at the time . If it is a bad day ,I can't tell you her name . /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif But I also can't repeat the name I call myself /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. If it is a good day she is affectionatley known as Simba /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My poor tractor doesn't have a name other than "tractor"...

My RTV got the name Ku"baby". Someone else named it but it stuck. It's the only machine I have with a name... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

To be perfectly honest, I was surprised not to see any comments from you in that thread. Of course, I think your tractor just got named within the last few months, didn't it? It was when you were doing that sewer line work I think, right? The thread hadn't shown up for awhile, so I guess it was due to re-surface again.

Thanks for the welcome. This is a great site and I am enjoying it very much. I see the posts before were from 2002, I did look for something similar to this and came up with nothing, probably my left-handed brain or something like that., just didn't look in the right places.. and I am still learning how to find different subjects..
