mystery wire under hood

Anyone have any idea of the purpose of this wire/ connector. I thought it might be an aux connection, such as for a work light, but why under the hood?
On a related note, I have never been able to find an aux / work light connector in the rear of the tractor.

I believe the wire harness is for several models and is used on other models BUT not the BX 2200..

The rear left side under the seat is a black tape open it up. And you will find what you are looking for.

Do they offer a cab (a/c compressor wire) model for that tractor?

Could be for a Air Cleaner sensor, some models will put a Warning light on when air filter is restricted.
