I purchased a new 2010 Kubota L2800 tractor this past summer. I've only got about 18 hours on it so far, but I love it. Since winter is looming and the days are getting so short I have been pondering the thought of putting some additional lights on my tractor, particularly some rear facing ones. So, I was looking for a way to mount them and have been looking at the Kubota light kit. Today, however, I noticed a welded nut on my ROPS that I hadn't seen before and am now wondering what it is for. Here is a pic of what I am talking about:

On most pictures I have looked at of other people's tractors, there are only two holes in the ROPS bracket. Mine has a nut welded in the upper hole. What is this nut for? I'm sure once somebody answers it'll be one of those Homer Simpson "D'OH" moments, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is for. What I am contemplating is using those holes to mount a bracket to hold a light. I can fab one up pretty easily I'm thinking.
