I think this is my 250 post at TBN !
Sunday dec. 17
Started by not getting out of bed. Late breakfast, later we got a visit from two friends of ours, and we went for a walk in the forest. Ate the packed lunch at a beautiful wiewpoint in our wood. After a 4 hr. walk we went to visit a friend who was baking bread for christmas in his "Bryggerhus" a building next to the main house on the farm, used as a rough kitchen, for baking and brewing, and saturday washing in the old days, and with a small living room besides it. He made "grislebread", wich means that the dough was given a short stay in the flames, then taken out and given at light coating of water on the surface and set aside for a while. In the meantime the glowing remains of the fire was raked out of the oven, and the light pre baked breads, 24 all together was put into it.
Later we had a grand meal with new baked, warm bread, real butter and cheese or honey, delisious!
We completed the day with a visit in the old workshop on the farm, they used to make handles there earlier.
