Tractor
Kubota B2400
Well I’ve been enjoying this forum for over four years now. After going through the usual stress, joy, and frustration of picking the tractor I thought I wanted/needed I decided on a B7510. With the five acres I have I think a BX2230 would do for most of my needs which is mowing grass. I finished building our house last fall and want to do some final grading. That’s why I moved up to the B7510. I wanted position control but thought the extra cash for a B2410 was a bit much since the 7510 has quarter inching. So I got a price of 15,300.00 for the 7510 with MMM and FEL with a tooth bar. Well I was about to sign up but the owner of the dealership stopped by and introduced himself. A very nice guy, very down to earth. He ask what I was going to buy. He mentioned he had a B2400 with 100 hours on it and would I be interested. Gee another step up, only a 100 hours well I guess. Took a look and it looked very good. It didn’t have a FEL on it but he said He could put a Woods on it. He gave me a price of 12,782.00 for it with the MMM and FEL with a tooth bar. I signed. So what do you all think? I thought I did very well. Does anyone know what the differences are between a B2400 and a B2410? Also any comments on a Woods loader.

DRT,

The B2400 came before the B2410. I am not sure how much before...

So the only question I have would be warrenty. I would guess the factory warrenty is gone...

The price may be right, I don't know. What kind, if any, warrenty will come with the tractor?

Other's here can probably give you better advice...actually I have given you nothing but a question! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Wonder what he Would price it at with a Kubota loader on it?

My Father-in- law has a B2400 with Bi-speed turn on it and He loves it.
I think He has had it like 6 years and the only problem he has had was a fifty cent O-ring leak .

Pretty Nice machine I think /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Henro

He gave me 90 days on the drive train and 50/50 on the rest. I think for six months. I just figure with only 100 hours and I'm saving around 5,000.00 on a new 2410 I can pay for quit a few repairs. Besides aren't these Kubotas bulit proof?

He said they like the Woods especially when adding to a used machine. Probably He has some in stock. I believe most people say Woods is a very good product. It is even orange except for the bucket which is black.

THIS IS ONE WHER EI USED THE TOOTHBAR TO LOSSEN DIRT , before finish grading my new septic system. septic was installed in oct. and i let it settle till may , so the ground was hard and compacted, the toohtbar was great for lossening before smoothing out. oh yeah talk the dealer into welding 1 or 2 hooks on the bucket FOR FREE!

That is what I was thinking of Dennis: matching colors /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I haven't had any experience with a Woods backhoe but I will say I think their finish mowers are as good as You can buy ,at Least that was my experience.
