kubota l3400
Picked up this blade today off craigslist for $275. A bit rusty but not too beat up. I think it will work great with my kubota. What do you think?

Looks like a nice blade and a good price to me. Is is a 6 footer? Should be a nice size for your L3400. It looks like Servis made some nice heavy stuff. I just looked at a Servis box blade that is real heavy duty.

That is a nice blade you got there...
We've got an older Rhino very similar to that one...
Very well built...
You will get many years of service out of that unit...

Welcome to TBN.
I use to own same blade. Made in Dallas,Texas. Mine was a 1958. Those blades were built real heavy duty.
Yours probably worn off but they came with paint on them on beam arm that said " LITTLE RHINO". Nice find.

Boone

Previous owner of mine added about 2' of steel to R-side to cut/work on ditches, etc.

Very nice! I too own a 72" Servis Rhino blade, its of the late 70's vintage I believe. Bought mine used also

Mine is a Rhino "LR" which looks to be an older version of the current rhino model 500.

They are built very well. It would take a lot of abuse or plain misuse to beat one up. I have plowed literally miles of snow, yards of soil, graded driveways, re-established a driveway complete with ditches, moved mountains of manure, even piled some brush.

A very good investment a rhino blade is.

I had been looking for a somewhat heavy duty blade with an easy tilt function for a while now. The best deal I had seen before that was a woods 700 for $450 with more wear. I jumped on this one quickly. It is 6 foot with the offset also. I believe the "little Rhino" stickers are under someone's old repaint job. The metal ID tag is still readable though.

Does anyone know why the 2 holes for the upper arm? Looks like one may work for a quick attach.

Here is a pic of mine. To me, it looks like the extra 'hole' was added later..... Maybe for more adjustment:confused:

I own an LR as well. Nice simple design that has stood up well to the test of time. I did see a used one that the mold board was bent on both ends though. Must have been catching it on trees or large boulders constantly. :( The only thing I would have changed in the design is the ability to flip the cutting edge.

The cutting edge on the one I got is reversable
