That looks like my rig! Ford Lariat w/softtop and flat car hauler - except mine isn't a dovetail and my tractor is blue.

What kind of Bota do you have. Does your Ford have the 8 or straight 6 in her. I'm curious because I have a Toyota 6 cyl and am wondering if I can pull my L3010. The truck manual says it will pull 5500 lbs. I know the tractor is about 3300 with the FEL and 3 pt mount.

My Ford has a large engine too big to pick up, it must be about three or four feet long, LOL It is an 8 cly. my bota is a B2400 with loader and tiller about 3000 lbs. I have no problem pulling the trailer, the question I would have about a small pickup is the safe stopping power or ability of the pickup, need mass to stop mass.

I was afraid of that. Maybe the weight is off in the manual for the L3010. I definitely don't want to hurt The Yota or the Bota. Thanks

Brand new? Brakes?

I'm look'n for a trailer like that for my L2600. Can you tell me the brand and where you found it? I live in Arkansas and there are lots of trailer manufacturers over in Texas, but I've not see a trailer that looks that good /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

It is new and I traded in a 12 foot trailer. The retale price was 1599 marked down to 1499 and I paid 900 with trade. Brought it in KCMO. The name of the place is Truck Trailer & hitch Center located at the 71 and Hickman Mills. Has Brakes, break away system, everything to make it a legal trailer in MO.

What is that trailer rated for? 2 tons? 4tons? That's a good price. I was looking at a couple of used ones about that range.
