Not sure if this applies to the shuttle shift or not , but there have been a number of posts stating that the Jinmas still use straight cut gears and they will grind until they wear in.

I sure hope so, I have been noticing that the grinding is becoming less frequent, I would like to think it's because I am getting better about shifting. For my next tractor I am going to go with HST the clutch/shifting thing gets old!
