After seeing some of the stuff about kids driving the kid sized Gators in the people towing things wrong thread, I realized my nephew is probably getting something similar for his birthday in June.
Uncle Devin (me) has a Kubota L3200 & Grampa Pat has a L4?40, so there is a bit of a preference for something orange to something green. He loves running around with his wheelbarrow, and a Gator is mostly a powered wheelbarrow, so score a point for green. I'm sure we could easily rig up a trailer for a tractor & get him learning how to backup a trailer years before he's even thinking about a learners permit. We aren't that religious about color though & I haven't seen any good Kubota ones around.
Any suggestions on a little battery powered tractor, UTV or the like for him to raise heck in? I'd like to get something reasonably durable so he'll have a harder time destroying it. I'm sure my brother would rather him learn the basics of driving on it rather than a car later down the road. Price is always a factor, but I'm not opposed to spoiling my nephew if something is quality & going to last.
