Both tractors have been very good to me, solid and reliable.
I like them both, but my favorite is definately my DK 35.

Are the rear tires on the JD stock size. They look small and the tractor appears to be going up hill.

Yep, they are stock.
They are 13.6-16 in the rear and 23/8.5-12 in the front.
Thats also what is listed in my owners manual.
