My Kubota L4850 has L5450 stamped on it?

Right next to the hydraulic filter by the rear wheel on my L4850, their is raised lettering on the body of the tractor that says L5450. Is the main body of the tractor the same for both units? Is the only difference between them the size of the bore stroke?

The L4850 and L5450 are almost the same tractor. Their R1 tires are different sizes (R4s are the same), engines also have different stroke. The L5450's LA1150 loader is a little stronger than the L4850's LA950 loader. The L5450 has more hydraulic flow, Cat I & II 3-pt hitch and there is extra steel around the front - tractor weighs about 300lb more. Take care, Dick B
