Made a quick video last night while plowing a couple inches of snow off my road. Mounted the camera on the SMV triangle bracket, so it shakes a bit. It's not terribly exciting, just watching snow roll off the blade. What I found interesting was how much the blade moves around.

Starts with a couple of passes down my driveway, then a pass each way down the road. You can see and hear the tractor slow down and labor more as I go up hills, and at one point towards the end I had to raise the blade to get going again because I lost traction and momentum going up hill.

Enjoy. Comment.

Pretty neat. For your next video, you'll need to come up with a mount with less vibration....... but still cool to see.

Yeah, this was just quick and dirty. I tie wrapped it onto the SMV triangle. I knew it was going to shake, but it was easy. It does have a place for a tripod mount (1/4-20 I think) that I could probably pretty easily find a way to make a mount with. May take a trip to lowes today and see what I can cobble up.

All I saw was a big hammer!! ;) You have a pretty long driveway there, but the Kubota made pretty quick work of it though. Good job.

Driveway is only about 40 yards. The majority of that is road. Since it's a private road, the HOA has to pay to have it plowed. With only 7 homes in the HOA, it adds up quick. So, I do the majority of it. I think the road is about 1/4 mile. I have burned more diesel plowing this year than I did mowing last summer.

Maybe next video will be forward facing, but not much to see that way.

You like my BFH storage spot?

Cool video. Maybe you could mount the camera on a broomstick or some sort of pole and have it face rearward so you can get more of a view of the whole tractor and blade at work.

Hmmm, getting ready to make another run. I will see what I can rig up.
