Mahindra 7060 4WD
Hello fellow TBN'ers!

Today I closed a deal on a 7060 4WD Mahindra w/ loader. It sure is a long way from my first tractor (Ford Jubilee) :)

I bought from Hartley Tractor in S.C but picked up closer to my home in Chattanooga. Jason from Hartley tractor was great the whole way through the process. (I came as a referred customer from my father-n-law, who also had great things to say about Hartley tractor).

I'll post a few pictures tomorrow. The 7060 is a sweet tractor. It's "fancy" as tractors go (compared to the tractors of the past).

BTW, I got 0% 60 mo financing from mahindra for an out the door price (dealer fees, insurance & tractor) of roughly $31,000.

Congratulations, I'm sure you will love it. What will you primarily use it for?

Eventually, hay work. In the meantime, just work around the farm and hopefully a little side work to supplement my teaching income. She's pretty stout and heavy.

Congratulations Thallman. Your 7060 is the new Tier IV version of my 6520, which is the Big RED Beast.:D Mine is a 2007 model.
Can't wait for the photos. Did you get a grill guard and skid steer attach option, along with a canopy?
hugs, Brandi

Congrats on your new addition to your family. Mine is a 2008 Mahindra 5525.

I dropped by my dealer's place today (Dave's Tractor in Red Bluff, CA). Business must be good--he had 5 new Mahindras loaded onto 3 gooseneck trailers for delivery.

The grille guarde came with mine -- I thought it was sold seperately, but it came standard on mine. I bought the largest 48"/4000lb fork and hay spear combo from skidsteerexpress.com. I have delt with them before and they have strong products at great prices. The skid steer attachment will arrive in town this Monday--I'll post pictures of it then.

I haven't bought a canopy yet. I'm clearing a lot of woods now and I would just end up messing it up real bad. When I switch to doing more hay field work I'll put one on.

I also would love the HD grapple from skidsteerexpress.com It's about $1,300. That isn't too bad of a price but I'll wait for a while on that one.

Thanks for all the comments. Here are some pictures.

It looks odd seeing "my" tractor without a canopy and backhoe on it. Photos show my stock grill guard and the modifications I did to it to keep my grill nice and shiny. Before I got it modified, I had to remove the grill, put it over a towel in a bowl shaped sand hole in the ground and bump out the dent I got in it. Opps.:ashamed: A little paint and it was good as new.
hugs, Brandi

As promised, here are some pictures (not great, sorry) of the pallet fork/hay spear set-up I bought from the guys at skidsteerexpress.com. Played around with the forks today. Everything looks good. Very heavy duty and really hard to beat the price.
