kioti ck30
First off I love my CK30 it is exactly the correct tractor for me and my uses. I have a loader and a set of forks not the clamp ons a real set. My issue with Kioti is poor, worse then poor dealers. Fast to sell but when repairs are needed they figure that weeks and possibly months instead of days is acceptable. My fuel tank began to leak and without a suitable garage and an array of tools removing the fuel tank myself is not practicable. I called the dealer and told they would be right on it. And they were as far as picking up the tractor and telling me what I already knew after 3 days. $1300 a ridiculous extreme amount that they knew I would be forced to accept. I was told they needed to order the tank and it would be in about 2 to 3 days. They would call and keep me informed. No call after 2 weeks, I called them "we did not know the warehouse was closed for a week" "we will call you in a day or so" Still No call.
When I get my tractor back I will use it until something else breaks or wears out then purchase another brand, won't be John Deere. I bought the Kioti because the John Deere dealer is also poor and very slow. I ask this question< Why are tractor dealers so slow and overly expensive not to mention never informing customers that repairs will take months. Any decent dealers around North Central Maryland or South central Pennsylvania?
Sorry for venting but I am getting more angry everyday.

That sucks. Why don’t you Look for a reputable repair shop instead. That way it won’t matter what brand tractor you have. Then you don’t have to shell out cash for a new tractor that you don’t want.

I don't know anything about Kioti, but it sounds like your problem is more with the lack of customer support from you dealer then anything that Kioti did. He should of nitified you right away that there was a big delay. One minute on the phone isn't all that difficult. If he is like that with you, he is the same with all his other customers.

Sadly, this can happen with just about any brand. I've thought that picking the best dealer has always been more important then the color of the paint. With so much available online, and my ability to do most repairs myself, I'm rethinking that to some degree. I still want a good dealer that I can trust, but if I had a brand that I really liked, I might stick with it even if the dealer isn't very good.

MESSICK'S for all things tractor. I've ordered parts from them and got my rear-mount blower from them. They do sales, service, parts and are located in multiple locations in PA.

Tractors - Compact(2-6HP)

Don't blame all the slow service on the dealer, As a lawn repair service center, sometimes order parts that are backordered, and the Dealer parts lookup system will show next week for delivery. Then next week comes and they will start moving the ETA date one day at a time until the parts arrives. Sometimes as long as 6 weeks. When I have parts backorder for a customer, I tell them it could be here tomorrow, or maybe is 6-12 weeks, because I can't control the warehouse or the manufacturer. And I have one company that I can do an emergency next day air order, and have no choice on shipping the parts, the funny thing is they don't ship the part for 14 days. So I get next day air in 14 days.

Your giving up to early ! Did you call Kioti HQ in North Carolina and complain ? I did when the dealer was dragging his feet on my CK27. Kioti took care of the issue and i got my tractor repaired and warranty honored ! I am with Eddie...find a new repair shop. Was the tractor under warranty ? You will find the grass isn't much greener on the other side. Keep the CK30...you will be hard pressed to find the perfect dealer.

thanks for the input guys, I will attempt to find a repair garage. I guess equipment is just like vehicles. Buy from the dealer but then find a shop that does repair first and does not sell.

I bought my CK27 ( 2013 ) used when i lived in Illinois at ( Little Tractor ) . But we moved to Tenn. in the process. Have a dealer here an hour away if i get in a jam I can't figure out. I didn't buy based on the dealer although Little tractor is a great place and a top Kioti dealer. We live kind of remote in the mountains so it makes it more necessary for me to do my own work. The people here at TBN make it a great place to get answers on repairs and questions. Kioti makes a great machine !!
