I had a heck of weekend with garden chores. Tilling with the 5 hp Troy built, the garden is 80 x 30 only about 1/3 planted so I had some rows and then larger areas. Took about an hour. Then mother wants a 10 x 12 ft "salad garden" raised bed. Using deck planks I built 12 inch high walls. The rest was easy, fill the wheel barrel, walk 100 yards (it was slightly downhill), dump the wheel barrel, repeat. Darn near killed me.

My only sanity was found on my Lt1050, MP 3 player with the Eagles, cold Budweiser in the cup holder and mowed for a couple of hours. Brought me back to earth.

It always surprises people when they ask how big my yard is and I respond that I enjoy mowing. Good equipment, good tunes, good weather, I'm a happy camper. I been listeing to Don Henley a lot lately, he needs to put out some new material!
