Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had any success using the new "mycnh" website for parts lookup?

Ever since they switched to this new flash based parts catalog, it won't work on mobile devices or tablets and most of the part listings have been removed to what I assume are only parts that cnh still produces. I have tried contacting their support but it looks like they simply don't care or don't have anyone capable at cnh. They used to have the best parts lookup, it's now unuseable, worse than agco even.

Support for adobe flash ends in 2020, their whole platform will be obsolete at years end and then what?

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Ian

I was needing some New Holland parts breakdowns the other day and encountered the new system,
I agree it totally sucks to the point of almost being worthless.
I lucked out in that I went to the Messicks website and they still had the old version there, no idea for how long.

I just tested both Messicks and MyCNH sites with no problems on either. MyCNH was a little quicker to open parts diagrams. I didn't go through the sales portion, only researching parts, and maybe that's why it worked fine for me. What browsers are you guys using? I'm using Microsoft Edge which is Chromium based, so I would expect the same results from Chrome. They both have a flash player integrated into their design and don't use adobe.

The site functions on desktops but I haven't got it to work on any device, android or ios. All flash players will be pulled at the end of the year and developers were warned quite some time ago, there is no intention to emulate flash. They just released this new site this year and it will not work at the end of the year unless you run some old and unsecured browser.

I have an Android 8.1 tablet and it works fine. At first I didn't like it but after a few times its starting to grow on me.

It seems to be working in chrome on my android now, Thanks!

Still, I will be discontinuing service of CNH equipment if they can't get the parts list filled. Having the dealer send email shots of their catalog is just archaic and a waste of valuable time.

I will be directing my customers away from CNH until they come up with a viable plan.

I have a New Holland backhoe and a Case dozer. Both dealers are very helpful, but they are pricey. Especially if you buy something that requires you buying a kit to fix it, and the kit contains parts for a dozen different models, so you only use a few parts out of the kit and throw the rest away. Or they make you buy a new part that doesn't need replacing, but you have to have it to make the repair. This is very common with cylinders and having to buy a new piston for the cylinder so the kit will have the right seals. Kit can cost over $100 and a new piston is also over $100. I take my cylinders to a repair shop and they parts are usually less then $5 and labor to do all the work is usually around $100 total.

For all my other parts, I go to Messicks. They are cheaper, they have all the parts diagrams, and they are very fast at shipping.
