1993 NH 2120 (the best), 1974 MF 135 (sold, but solid), 1947 Farmall A (bought, sold, bought back, sold again), 1956 MH50 lbt (sold, in 1980, darn it)
I know we're not supposed to get emotional about machinery, but DANG I just busted a fender and I feel I hurt my favorite machine.
Coming down a steep hill in my woods with a load of beech logs. Chained on, but beech is smooth barked and one log slid out of the pile. It hit the winch and I thought I'd rescue it when I got to the bottom of the hill. Next I knew, it rode up the Ag tire tread and right into the fender. The sheet metal was no match for the hardwood. The 2120 was nearly perfect until I busted it.
I wi fix it. I couldn't do much on that hill anyway. Still, DANG!

Sincerely sorry to hear about your misfortune. In all reality, the fender can be replaced. You could have been injured. Best wishes in regards to the repair.

Look on the bright side. That's an easy fix compared to many things that could have happened. We have to be so very careful. Fix er up!

Dang Jim! That's a shame.:( I think you should sell it to me for salvage value.;)
Good luck with the repair.

Sorry for your misfortune Jim. I'm glad your okay. Might need to invest in a HF body repair tools. The good thing is that you have good access to easily take the fender off, have access to both sides easy, can spot weld where the seam came apart and at the end with a paint job it'll almost be as good as new. I think it is a doable work. Imagine if the fender was fiberglass then you would have been out of luck but sheet metal after straightening and paint will look about the same.

Be glad it wasn't plastic as your fender can be fixed. It may not be perfect but after repair it will function just fine.

Thanks all. I'll fix it, maybe with a used fender from somewhere. And you're right - no one was hurt, and the damage is confined to the fender. The cab is fine. Even the reflector made it through.
Just disappointed.
