I've got the late model Kubota skid steer style quick connect mounting plate with the spring loaded lock down pins.

My grapple has come off twice now and darned near ripped my hydraulic lines out.

Even the on the stock bucket and bale spear that came from the dealer with the tractor it seems like the fit is not right.

All my attachments have the large rectangular slots and when the plate is flush against the attachment, there isn't enough room for the pins to go all the way thru the slots.

The pins have bevels on the bottom of them and when in the locked down position, the beveled portion goes in about half way and that is it. So you really just have the beveled tips of the pins holding the attachment at the bottom.

The springs can give enough to allow the pins to disengage the attachment.

Shouldn't the pins lock in solidly all the way into the slots instead of just the tips?

On my L39 with the QA the beveled in only set about an inch through the underside of the slot. I believe that is as designed. Sounds to me like the lever that engage the the springs to lock the pins down in the slots are failing. Do your levers pass parallel when you lock the pins in? Does it take a good pull to lelease them? Maybe the spring are weak or another part of the locking mechanism?
