- Getting old. Sold the ranch. Sold the tractors. Moved back to the city.
Bought this little honey with FEL at George's Implements in Redding CA. $12650 delivered. Easy to operate, FEL feels really solid. The dealer welded three chain hooks on the bucket.
I have 10 acres, mostly flat, square (1 furlong per side), bumpy (need brush hog), weeds (star thistle, foxtail, etc., but no heavy brush or saplings), no surface rocks. Almond trees (28 in number) remaining from old orchard along with a dozen or so stumps.
First jobs: move roadbase gravel to garage ramp, grade, wheel compact. Garage is 24'x42'x12'H with two 10'x10' rollup doors, 6" slab with lotsa rebar. This barn of a garage really swallows up the little Bota.
Next, have about 1100 ft of electrical, water, LP gas trench to backfill with the Bota in the next few weeks. House will be finished in late July.
Then, landscape about 1 acre adjacent to the new house.
