Good day....
My current rear tires are 16.9x24
They have worn the paint off the rear backhoe outriggers/stabilizers (or whatever they're actually called).
I know the tires are pretty worn, and of course... one, is cracking.
If I buy new, in the same size I'm afraid they'll be even closer or more prone to contact the stabilizer.
Should I be looking at a little bit smaller (in diameter) tire? Since when new, it'll have more tread and therefore be a bigger issue.
... I might buy used also, so any help would be greatly appreciated. No need to put 'brand new' on Ol'Betsy when it's only used in dirt on my property.
Would the 14.9-24 be too small (too skinny)?
I have a lead on them, $250 each for used in really good shape. Better shape (deeper tread) then the 16.9-24.
HELP!
