My 485 BH is in

Hi Gang,

I was just at my dealer and my 485 hoe is in. Nice hoe, even he thought so. He's got the thumb but I didn't see it as he had it inside and the hoe was on the lot. There's a hole for the thumb rod, it's at the head of the dipper on the connecting plate. I suppose all the new hoes will come with it.
The hoe is very beefy, this thing should do some real work.

My tractor is still no where in sight! The wait continues.

I looked one over that was mounted on a 2010 JD 4720 a month or so ago. Good lookin' machine! :thumbsup:

Seems like the attachments are the last things to arrive with a new tractor package -having the hoe at the dealership - could well be a very good sign...

I think it works by demand. Tractors like 2320 and 3320 are in higher demand so the back log to the dealer is longer. Also the hoe may come from another facility but I may be wrong.
I would have liked to see this hoe next to the 375 for comparison. Can you get a thumb on the 375?
My thinking, with the help from you guys, is that the small extra expense will be nill over time for a much more substantial hoe.

It's a no brainer on the thumb. It's a relatively small bump in price or all the added benefits. I was going to have one custom made from a guy in NJ but it wouldn't have been a pin on. So the fit an finish wouldn't have been as good. I can't wait to see pics of yours Rob. It's too bad deere took so long to get this option out to us.
