My dealer just got my new 3550 delivered. This is the 5035 tier 4 renumbered....along with the renumbered attachments. The FEL is now a 3550L (formerly a M130) and the backhoe is a 75B (the renumbered 595). The tractor is being fitting with a 2nd remote for the Worksaver SSGR-262 grapple.

Pictures attached....

I would say the backhoe is a renumbered 509, not a 595?

Thanks Dave....I was told it was a 595, but based on the pictures I've seen, I think you're right. How do the specs compare between the two?

See Dave, that's what part of my concern was/is about on my new setup too. I should get a 485 with my 3535, but with this new model numbering and not even having seen a 485 to be able to compare that with what I actually get - I get worried the wrong thing will end up on my tractor and I won't even know the difference - although it could be a lot.

Congrats Trev04!

I thought I was getting a 595 with the 4530 that I bought. When the dealer emailed me the price breakdown list per item, the backhoe was listed as a 509E. I guess I'll know what I bought when it's delivered. What size is that bucket?

The 4530 has always used the 509E, the "E" being the kit that fits the 4530. It is a great backhoe. I'm not up to speed on all the current changes in backhoes as it relates to the new models, but I am guessing the 509E will remain, even if it is called something else.

Very similar. One wins by an inch on one spec, the other by an inch or two on another. The specs on digging force are done at 2500 psi on one unit and 2750 on another, so we can't compare that directly. They ought to fix that. All things equal, these are certainly in the same class and nearly identical as far as capabilities.
