Hey, everybody! I don't post much, but learn a lot from reading all of your posts and would like to say 'Thanks!' I got my new 2520 w/200cx, 46 BH about 1.5 months ago, mostly for clearing, maintaining the woods behind my house, building a patio+landscaping, redoing my lawn in the spring (some settling since constr 6 yr ago), snow removal, too, I suppose. I have 2.5 acre total w/ maybe 1.5 acre woods that my kids love to play in, so I'd like to clean out safe passages. The ground is a rock pile w/dirt mortar. LOTS of rocks of all sizes. Seems like I live on the spot where a glacier melted some time ago. I have the 61" bucket and admire its capacity, but I do acknowledge that a smaller bucket might engage the ground more effectively, but I still like the width, and for clearing snow, I didn't want to be narrower than the track. The BH is fun, but there is a steep learning curve. It is a little "jerky", I suppose, but my expectations weren't that high. So far I'm impressed, but I'm still very new at it. I had to take the reflector bracket off the rollbar, because it WILL smack your right elbow hard, and it's unforgiving narrow steel and hurts like a mother. I love the way the tractor feels moving around. I flipped the tires to the wider position, it seemed to benefit from this. This poor tractor is subjected to a bit of rocking around on the rocky terrain. I've used the MFWD plenty and it feels very familiar in operation to any other manual part-time 4wd sys in a truck or suv. I haven't done too much else yet. Buying this thing left me cash-broke and I can't even afford a pile of loam to stab and spread around right now. I think I might like a box blade, also, but all that might have to wait until next year. I wonder if anybody has made a safe dolly to roll the BH around the garage if detached. There are only 2 things at this point that I don't like and would like to improve, somehow:
I don't like the seat belt design at all. I prob wouldn't know better, but I have a Scag Tiger Cub mower that has a reel with a male buckle on one side, and a female buckle (like a car) on the other. I never use the mower w/o the belt on because it's so easy, just zip-click. The frickin' Deere design is cumbersome, inconvenient, obsolete, a PITA if there is more than one operator and very tempting to not use. I may have to retrofit it eventually with something better. Maybe a scag belt
I also don't like how sloppy the linkage for the loader valve is. The handle should have a much tighter feel. When I look at it, it seems there are a couple of spots where maybe some shims might improve things. Has anybody had any success improving the sloppy lever feel? If I remember, The orange tractors and even the Korean tractors had better feeling valves/levers. Help me out.
I do enjoy using this machine and want to improve what I can. Thanks, all, again!

Hey Strange, glad most of your input is positive.
I too do not like the seat belt design. There are a few threads that mention replacing it with a retractable. Smart move.:)
As for the loader valve linkage play. That I haven't experienced. Mine is pretty solid. There definitely isn't any stick movement before loader movement. Pretty spot on.
