MX15 Rotary Cutter

I am in the market for a new medium duty batwing to do some grass mowing around my place. I have a 6 foot mower to run behind my JD 3020 now for real brush hogging...i am looking for this unit for mowing only. Does anyone own the MX15 and if so what are your opinions. Any idea on what a good price is for a new unit? Thanks in advance.

I don't know what they cost new but I know my local Deere dealer has a used one for $15k. It doesn't "look" new but it's not been used hard either. I'd rate it to be in good condition but not great condition. That's a hefty price for a used mower though.

Ouch, the first one that shows up on Tractorhouse is a new 2014 year model for $13,238. Even if the used one has a ton of options it's hard to see paying that much.

That is a CX 15 not a MX 15. That is a higher priced mower than the OP is asking about.

I just finished a 23 hour mowing job with my new CX-15. Very happy with it so far. I have 6 of the severe duty ag "fat boy" tires with the air suspension. Mower floats over the rough areas, very impressed.

Not to nit pick but you're right. IIRC they have the LX, MX, HX and CX.

What do you pull it with? How many acres did you do in 23 hours?
