We just got this 2003 John Deere Model MX 8 Rotary Cutter in. The cutting Width 96". It has reinforced double deck design capable of cutting up to 2" diameter brush. Non seize--self adjusting slip clutch is standard and the Min. HP Requirement 40. Transport width is 102" and weighs approx. 1700 lbs. Features a Semi-Mount hitch with hydraulic cylinder for rear of machine with a Center Gearbox rated at 120 hp. and the outside boxes rated at 75 hp. The blade tip speed 15,739 ft./min and it does have Front and rear chains. $4200. Ken Sweet
