If and when you turn one over. Don't try to start it without pulling the glow plugs before cranking over to pump out any engine oil that is likely in the cylinders. The picture is the result. This machine was practically brand new with only 9.5 hours on the clock. It bent all 3 connecting rods when it hydro-locked.

Seen it a lot in rental fleets. There is an outfit that sells "Tip gauges" you hide them under the hood.
