Hi All,
Hey, I'm a little confused regarding the new MT line verses the X series. Can anyone speak to the tangible differences between the 2 series, ie., features, capabilities, options, and of course pricing. As an example: MT345 vs. the equivalent X with 45 h.p.?

I'd appreciate thoughts and comments.
John

Had dealer rough quote me $29000 for XR4150c, not sure if you wanting open or cab but xr4145 open station should be in low 20's. May want to look at LSTRACTORUSA.COM for comparison on options. MT list remote valves as option and 2 sets standard on XR and MT is 8x8 shuttle and XR 16x16 shuttle. My guess would be that the MT is a little cheaper than an XR few less standard options LS lists it as a bigger economy tractor vs other brands. Just my .02 worth

Over, thanks for the response....Took your suggestion and did a brief comparison...looks like the "hydro" isn't offered on any of the MT's, which to me is a big difference. I guess the sales strategy for the MT is to offer a stripped down unit, reduced budget for someone who wants the minimum in a tractor. I'm assuming the frame and engine are the equivalent provided in the XR. Adding options can get pricey, like the remote valves and other niceities.
The reason for my post is that my son-in-law is looking for a place with small acreage. I only recently learned of the MT line. I would guess if someone was going to take the plunge, might as well get the features that really enable one to get maximum use out of the investment. But too each his own.
Thanks, John
