MT 225s front axle grease fittings

Greasing the front end loader on my MT 225s today and I noticed there are two grease fittings on the front axle. Neither one of those would take Grease. Has anyone experienced this before?

If you're talking about the ones on the pivot for the front axle, it may help if you lift the front of the tractor slightly to take the weight off the axle. That should allow you to grease it.

Yes, they do get grease, but they are a "sealed" joint. My dealer told me to not force too much grease in there or it will blow the seals. He said one pump will be sufficient. He said that it doesn't have to be greased every time you do the rest of the tractor. Lifting the weight off the axle will help to get the little bit in.

They aren't rusted, just dusty. There's a matching set on the other side.

I wouldnt worry too much about those. Like @LS Tractor Owner said, they are sealed. If you force grease into them, you may blow out the seals. Thats not the end of the world if you do blow them out, but means you'll probably have to grease more often and will likely have more of a mess. Give them a shot every 50-75hrs. If you're concerned about the zerk being blocked, simply remove the zerk and plug it into your grease gun. Give it a pump. If grease is flowing out, its not blocked.
