Mr. Funnel on an angled fuel opening?

I have a Mahindra 2538 HST cab and the fuel tank is behind the cab. The opening to fill it is on an angle and I already have to hold the 5 gallon can on my shoulder to fill it. Anyone figured out a way to use a Mr. Funnel on a situation like this? There's no way I could hold the funnel and fuel can at the same time.

Ideas?

I would just buy a fuel transfer pump. I tried monkeying around with a few different solutions and wasted a lot of money. In the end the best solution is a transfer pump. They tend to be a little pricey in Canada, but they’re pretty cheap on the US. This will save you hours of experimentation.

I'd sit the fuel container on the seat and use a siphon to run fuel into your Mr. Funnel.

That's what I did on the funky 1025R I had. It's tank was side saddle.

On the 4010 and 2025R, I sit the container on the hood and use a pump type siphon (to get it started) to run fuel into the tank. Tried a Mr. Funnel on one of the 3 tractors and ran into it with the siphon.

You could pour the fuel into an empty jug using the Mr. Funnel. That way you could take the extra clean fuel and pour it right into the tractor without balancing the Mr. Funnel. Personally I find 2 gallons to be much easier to hoist up.

Every 1 or 2 years I pour my stored generator fuel into our road vehicles using a large Mr Funnel. I made up a PVC filler neck with a 45 deg fitting, and the funnel fits snugly and level.
That said, handling cans is a royal pain and you may want to give consideration to the recommendations above. For routine fueling of my diesels I use a transfer pump with 10 micron filtration and water separation.

I LIKE the looks of that little 12v pump above..
10 gal a minute??!! I know some service stations that aren't that fast.. Lol
BUT @ 13 amps, I would keep the machine running during fill up.. might do alittle battery draining?? just a thought.

I've used a hand operated diaphragm pump in a drum for decades. Easy, cheap and no mess.

I spent about $500 on a fillrite pump/filters w/ auto cutoff and a 50 gallon tank. I built a pallet and dolly and I put the tank in/out of my pickup with my pallet forks/fel when I need to fill the tank. I have never been more happy about getting fuel into my tractor and rv without hurting my back and spilling fuel everywhere. You can find these pumps/tanks used on craigslist all the time and you can save a bundle by using a manual pump and an used 55 gallon drum. If you do this, you will thank me and the other posters who recommended it.
