To ease your mind a bit, I pull and utilize a 4' rotary brush hog with my 15hp/12pto go Mitsubishi MT372. It's an 1985 model I rebuilt and lured likes it's having fun. Mind you I've had to heavily counter weigh my front end but as long as I'm in no hurry, it just chugs right on through 5-6 ft high brush just fine.
