Mower goes in reverse for all forward gears and forward and fwd when in reverse!

This tractor hates me!!!! It is a 2005 GT2254 lawn tractor. All I did was replace the transmission drive belt and now it goes forward in reverse and reverse in all other gears. Electric clutch readjustment since new belt is not stretched????


HELP!!!!

It sounds like your belt is routed wrong so it is turning the transaxle pulley backwards.

It looks like it would be pretty easy to make a 180 degree routing error that would produce the effect you describe.
