I just wanted to say what an improvement New Hollands disc mower design is. A few days ago I cut a t-post into. It was grown over and I couldn't see it. Thirty minutes later I hit another one, I was going slow and looking for one. On this one I chipped a few teeth off a gear. The new design saved me big bucks. Since each compartment is self contained the busted teeth didn't spread down the bar. It cost me $120. The guy standing next to me had to pay $1800 to repair the same problem on older model. In thirty minutes I was back to mowing. This was one of the reasons for my choice over others. In the past 15 years I had worn out a vicon, which I loved,RIP. NH has fixed all of the problems with their new design, except the operator.
