I was looking at my mower deck and notice that it only has three wheels... Its a 60" cut... Shouldn't it have four wheels for removal ? There's a fix wheel on the leftside... From what I can tell by pictures of decks on JD web they show four... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

For the smaller lawn and garden decks (38", 42", 48" et al) some Deere decks have only two gauge wheels, some have four, and at least one variation has 3. So yours might be just as it's supposed to be, but you can always check the parts diagrams on JD Parts for your exact model.

The 60" MMM on my 4110 also has 3 swivel wheels and 1 small fixed wheel at the front left corner. I have no idea why. There seems to be enough clearance if they chose to make that 4th wheel a swivel. Removal and reinstalling the deck doesn't seem to be a problem with this config, although the deck is pretty heavy in it's own right and takes a fair amount of muscle to jockey it into position (I do it on the gravel floor of my pole barn, I don't have a concrete pad with enough side-side access - yet!).

My 60" MMM is the same way, 3 swivels and one fixed on the FL corner.

Not sure why they did it that way, but it works /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
