Mouth Taping, Anyone Else Doing It?

My wife & I snore. She's in hospital now bronchitis (I.V.s) & nebulizer. She got & was using mouth tape & doctors said don't do it because during the night lots of times you breathe through your mouth, nose stops up.
I'm getting over pneumonia. She'll be home Monday hopefully.
Edit: she has sepsis so a couple more days.
