I have two other threads on this one but they are related to self import and hose connection problems. These threads are http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/chinese-tractors/223303-hw04x-bh-hose-connection-problem.html and http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/chinese-tractors/207390-placing-order-jinma-factory.html.
I ordered direct from Jinma a frame mounted BH to fit my 284. I expected an HWO3 or JWO3 or something like that but received one that says HWO4X on the nameplate. I'm still not sure if this is a 6' or 7' hoe.
FRAME - The frame is much more robust than others I've seen. The front end of the frame has only one pair of holes so there is no adjustment fore and aft. The span across the rear of the frame is too wide and we had to weld in thick spacers. We bolted everything in place before welding.
At the front end we had to adapt some brackets from Tommy at Affordable. They didn't quite give us full overlap under the Koyker towers but they should be adequate.
Finally after getting the frame mounted and then sorting out the pump and hose connection problems, I was able to attach the hoe. I knew in advance there may be problems in reaching the controls and RonMar has been helping me with details of his own excellent solution.
Remember, there was no forward and rearward adjustment of the frame. The oil tank is 9-3/4" away from the face of the pump. This makes it impossible to use the swivel seat turntable that came with it.
The next step is figure out how and where to locate the seat as well as possibly flipping the controls around like Ron did. Another TBN member, Kyle, went through this with his Jinma 454 and he's been kind enough to send me some photos. I'd welcome any solutions to this seat location problem. I'm even toying with the idea of connecting a new base to the 3 point arms and use them for height adjustment.
Lastly, how do I confirm if this is a 6' or 7' hoe?
