Ok I'm a new member and have no idea if I'm in the right place but feel free to advise...

I'm a petrol head and have been for years my passion for air cooled Porsche is boundless. Lucky to have owned one or two over the years which doesn't mean I'm a rich guy just bought at the right time and handy with the spanners ..

I know less than a donkey about tractors but have the opportunity to buy a Porsche Junior from the early 60's. To be fair it would be used for local farm shows/events over the year so I would want to strip it myself and bring it back to top condition. It's in reasonable running condition so I'm going to bid on it.. I will no doubt have a few questions as we go but the bug has bitten so Ill have one at some point.

the pancake engines are a treat to work on ( mine were the VW style ) but the same designer :laughing:

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.....I'll remember the wrenches next time...

The search is on for a decent Porsche Tractor as the last one was less than described so we'll see how it goes in the coming months as they rarely become available in the UK..
