Used the new 4hr old 2305 for more parts lifting today;transmissions, rear axles and other stuff. also got to try out my paynes clamp on forks I got last week. loaded a bunch of metal pilings on them-those steel I beam shaped things you drive into ground and slide railroad ties between em to build a retaining wall. They were cut into 6-7 foot pieces but little 2305 lifted 6 at a time no sweat. and got to use 4wd also,(uphill a pretty good grade, too)cause we didnt beat the rain.
But before rain tried out the backhoe- first time and didnt pull machine over or smack anyone in head.
I do have ? tho, the boom control seems really touchy and like twice as fast as the dipper /bucket control-is this normal? The guy in pic -Derek operates equipment and he even thought it seemed a bit fast or abrupt compared to the dipper end. any thoughts or is this normal-just need more time to get my muscle memory on that control. anyway dug out pretty good- sure beats a pick and shovel.
