more fun with scraps

After hitching up the garden wagon to the lawn tractor and tossing in a bunch of yard tools then driving all the way back to the barn only to find that 2 of the tools fell out, I figured there has to be a better way. I saw a similar metal device on another garden wagon. anyway, A few minutes with a lock drilling bit and a couple scraps of wood saves the day.

So many folks figure the only way to make something to help out is with the checkbook.

The most serious problem working with wood I've found is cutting it short. With steel for me it's not a problem, it stretches just fine thank you. But wood stretching I suspect takes magic.

Watch out that one of them don't conk you on the head if it bounces out. I lay them down on the cart and use a bungee to hold them.

You never have had a carpenter send you for a board stretcher, have you? It's usually over where the electricians keep their bucket of amps.
