Montana 5740

My gear shift leaver is jamed or stuck in one position and i cannot shift Help thank winker

I found my 5740c to do this if I get heavy on the shifter... You can slide under the tractor an see that the shifter finger has probably advanced out of alignment... I had my son push in the direction that I needed and I used a pry bar to get it back in right slot.. Not happened to me since I started shifting easy... I think mine stuck in second gear.. Hope this helped .
