Hello again everyone. I was on this board back in June and the response I got certainly gave me something to think about.
While we were on holiday I persuaded my wife that a small detour wouldn't add too long to the drive home. As you have probably guessed the detour was to a dealer in used compact tractors.
The man was very helpful even though he didn't think he would make a sale as I had previously told him that I was just thinking about it, plus he is 350 miles from my home.
He let me have a go on a B2150 HST with FEL, I had a very big grin on my face all the time. I have now made up my mind about certain 'must haves':
1. Hydrostatic transmission - The test drive convinced me of that.
2. 4 wheel drive - Because of the terrain and the winters.
3. Min 20 HP - Because of the other points.
4. FEL and backhoe.
5. Power steering.
Now I know that the B2150 would be ideal but what other models would also fit my needs? I have never seen any mention of ST30's, is this a UK model only?
