Mobilube HD Plus gear oil

This stuff good for use in front axle, or just stick with something off the shelf at the local auto parts store?

What part of country are you from? Personally I run same oil as transmission. If I were to go to a gear oil, I would go synthetic since I live in the frozen North

I'm in Kansas, definitely gets below freezing but unlikely i'll be doing any work during those temps

It would not hurt using it but I also don't think you need "...extra-high-performance commercial gear oil..."
