Mobil Delvac Tractor Hydraulic Fluid 124788 and Mobil fluid 424 the same? good/bad

OK so i have a stupid question are theses the same fluids or different and can i use the Delvac in my 2017 CK2610HST

i ordered a 5GL container off amazon of the 424, got it several weeks ago did not really look close at it until today

it says Mobil Delvac Tractor Hydraulic Fluid 124788...looking it up it appears to be good stuff ...any thoughts????

to be consistent i was going to order more and change the front differential and use the Delvac

im a tad irritated that they sent me something different....

opinions are appreciated.......

I run all Mobil products in my tractor and vehicles. We use Mobil products at work and do oil sampling every 250hrs in which we run 24hrs at work so basically sampling every 2 weeks. Our company policy is 3000hrs and change oil even if sample says it is still good. We get 3000hrs out of mobil oils easy. Delvac is a very good oil the 424 Mobil hydro is very good oil!!! I wouldn’t be scared to run the delvac tractor hydro oil in my hydro/hst system that’s for sure. As far as the front diff I run mobil 75w90 synthetic gear oil. I have been running this in all my vehicle diffs for years as well.

Who did you order from on amazon?

I bought 424 a while back and used it, now you have me questioning if I looked at the label....

I had this same question until I visited a store that had it in my old hometown. What I overlooked before is near the bottom of the 5 gallon bucket it has writing stating that's it's the same as 424. It may not be on old stock buckets as the stock Mobile picture doesn't show that writing. I would take a picture of mine but I already took it over to my property.

Just read on BobIsTheOilGuy forum that 424 and delvac are identical product. Confirmed from Mobil site that the specs are identical (even though they don't appear to want to you to easily reach this conclusion). Althought I suppose it does say on the delvac label: "also known as mobilfluid424", lol.

Mobil states that it exceeds Kubota UDT requirements, etc.

I've not been happy with the fluids I've used. Too much whine. Used Wolf's head last time on dealer's recommendation. Traveler before that.

Next time I'm at TSC I'm getting a couple pails.
