MMM lift on 755

Hello Everyone,

After a long winter it's finally time to put the blower away and think about mounting the mower.

I received the tractor in January so the only thing I did was unclip the mower and put it out of the way. Now that the grass is starting to grow again it's nearly time for me to put it back on.

The only thing I couldn't figure out before I removed the mower is how to raise and lower it. I would appear that the tractors came with a hydraulic mower lift but I'm not sure if it was an option or not or if mine even has it. In the end I just used the manual crank to lower the mower down. Is this how it's done with these machines or am I missing something?

There are two rods that come with the lift kit. These rods go back to two bell cranks that fasten to the frame near the two 3 pt lift arms. The lift arms slide across the bell crank cams and pull the rods back, thus raising the MM mower. The proper position adjustment of the front hinge and the rod length gives you the best raise and lower range.

if it is anything like my 855 there are 2 lift aqrms just in front of the rear tires you may not see them if the handle crank is all the way tight loosen the handle and lower the 3pt and they should drop down then connect your mmm links to these

I was poking around the underside this afternoon and I thought it might be connected to the 3 pt hitch.

I'll have more time on the weekend to take a closer look.

I believe connection to the 3 pt depends on whether or not your tractor is equipped with an FEL. The 3 pt does not affect mower height on mine; up/down is coupled to the bucket curl on the joystick.
